"The best burgers in the area. It's a bit out of the way, but worth the drive. Food comes out fast and fresh. Onion rings were hot and crispy. I got the sweet potato casserole and that was good too."

"I went back to a place today that I hadn't been to for a while and discovered that I had waited way too long. I was just passing by and noticed that the parking lot was full and that the roads in every direction were lined with parked cars. So I changed my mind about my lunch plans and pulled into Mac's Country Store. I was there a little before noon so I had my food quickly. As I enjoyed my two hot dog plate with slaw and onion rings I realized why the line was to the door by now. Yet Mac served everyone efficiently and pleasantly. As I ate and watched the crowd I had an epiphany. This will not be a passing by place for me, it will be a destination spot. Truly, these are the best hot dogs, bird dogs, and hamburgers in the area. Way to go Mac Smith , you rock. To quote Mickey Mouse, we'll see you real soon!"

"The hidden gem of southern style diners on the outskirts of Pendleton, South Carolina. Walking in the door takes you back to how things used to be when you were a kid. The food is excellent, service great, and the price point more than fair. You'll spend more money for worse food at a drive thru. I'm a sucker for a chili, mustard, onions on a cheeseburger with fries and slaw and man was it delicious. Kid friendly, inside and outside seating, to-go orders all done with a smile."

- Z N.

"Some dang good grub! Nothing better than enjoying some American food on the farm. Worth the hype for sure! Will definitely be back."

- Zach E.

"Excellent! Best chili cheese dogs I have ever eaten hands down. Beautiful old time nostalgic cafe with momentous from era's gone by.... It's a experience down memory lane. Destination! Great fast friendly service. A treat!"

"Another great Hamburger. My wife and I have been trying to find these hole in the wall hamburger joints. This place is at the top of the list. Great Burgers. They load you up on the fries so mix your sides. Half fries half Mac n cheese or something like that. Small unassuming place with a steady flow of customers. Cooked fresh, served got off the grill. Not to far off I385 at exit 21. So if your in the area looking for something good to eat, check them out"
